      <image:caption>10 jaar geleden zag mijn leven er totaal anders uit. Ik was een talentvolle keeper in het veldhockey en vergooide dat tijdens de week door diep in het studentenleven te duiken. Feesten, drank, te weinig slaap en ongezond eten. Ik bouwde ongezonde gewoonten op. Die konden niet langer. Ik begon weer met serieus sporten. Eerst fietsen, maar uiteindelijk voegde ik lopen en zwemmen toe. Na mijn eerste jaar als triatleet had ik de smaak te pakken. 3 jaar geleden begon aan mijn voorbereiding op de Ironman Mont Tremblant. Ik zocht naar nieuwe verbeteringen en vond deze in mijn verbeterde training en voeding. Ik leerde veel over mijn lichaam, mijn motivatie, doorzettingsvermogen en het waarmaken van mijn droom. Ik wil de beste en gezondste versie van mezelf zijn. De lessen die ik op dit pad leer, deel ik hier op mijn blog. Bereid je voor op veel fietsen, lopen en zwemmen.
